Caroline Phaneuf, B.A. (Hons), M.A.
President & founder
With over 25 years of experience in communications (internal and external), marketing, public relations, and broadcast journalism, Caroline offers wide-ranging expertise in both English and French. Having worked with multi-million-dollar companies, small and medium-sized businesses as well as public organizations and foundations, her experience spans a variety of industries, which include aerospace, health, education, engineering, heavy industry, financial technology, software, finance, construction, politics, and fashion, among others.
Caroline started her career as a radio and television journalist and went on to lead corporate affairs and communications teams before starting Caroline Phaneuf Communications in 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Montreal’s Concordia University with a double major in journalism and political science and a master’s degree in political science from McGill University in Montreal. She has held positions on the boards of the Montreal Chest Institute Foundation and Edinburgh School and was the Chair of the English Montreal School Board’s Parents Committee.

Jane Stanbury, B.A. (Hons), MBA
President of Arena Group
Jane is a media communications specialist with more than 30 years of experience in media, luxury travel and aerospace sectors. She brings an intelligent approach to understanding, interpreting, and communicating with global audiences while supporting innovative next-gen start-up companies through to international corporations.
With a focus on aviation and aerospace innovation, her expertise includes developing communications strategies, media relations, copywriting, and feature writing, creating marketing content, networking, and business development. Jane launched Arena Group in January 2017 bringing a fresh big-picture perspective to communications. Jane is also fluent in Spanish.

Michelle owns Kumquat Designs and has 17 years’ experience as a graphic designer, web designer & developer, and photographer. She has worked with small and medium-sized businesses, career professionals, not-for-profit organizations, academic institutions, and individuals. She is passionate about functional design, a perfectionist, with an exacting eye for detail, and values the client’s opinion. Michelle’s specialties include web design and development, logos and branding, print design, large format print media (banners and sandwich boards), magazine layouts, brochures, booklets, business cards, letterhead, as well as document formatting (aka. Word-wrangling), PowerPoint and Excel. Among her many clients with CP Communications: SherpaReport, Presagis, the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force, CoVaRR-Net, Boldrocchi, dancing gecko training, and Fertitech.
Neal Evan Caminsky
Web developer, digital marketing, video production
Neal owns Red Dream Studios, offering digital marketing services, including website design, programming and maintenance, to a wide variety of clients since 2001. This includes search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social influence marketing (SIM) via today’s most popular social networking resources. He is a WordPress expert and is very fast at programming, also offering a quick turnaround on maintenance requests. Neal also does video post-production and offers other multimedia-related services. He has worked with CP Communications for AIRHAWKE, the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force, CoVaRR-Net, and CCABL3, among many other clients.

Mark Witten

Mark is a multiple award-winning communications writer and journalist who has written on a wide range of topics for many of Canada’s leading universities, health and research non-profit organizations, corporate clients, and consumer magazines. Among his areas of expertise in writing are health research, medicine, aerospace and technology, law, science, and engineering. Mark’s writing can be found in articles, on websites and in newsletters of most Canadian universities, as well as in magazines such as Maclean’s, Report on Business Magazine, Canadian Business, Toronto Life, Canadian Living, Reader’s Digest, Today’s Parent, Chatelaine, Health Journal, The Walrus, and University Affairs. Mark has a passion for research and writing, but is also a proven project manager.
Jaspreet Jain
Scientific researcher & writer
Jaspreet earned her doctorate in Virology and Immunology from Amity University and the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), India. She started her career as a Research and Development Scientist in in-vitro diagnostics at a biotechnology start-up located in Delhi, India. Dr. Jain moved to Canada in 2019 and joined the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM) as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow where her research focused on finding novel cure strategies in the field of HIV and SARS-CoV-2. Thereafter she worked as a Research Associate with the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force (CITF) and focused on scientific outreach and communication with multiple stakeholders. She is currently working as a Project and Biorepository Manager at McGill University Health Centre Research Institute.
Shanzeh Mumtaz Ahmed

Shanzeh is a medical writer specializing in immunotherapies relating to rare, digestive, and infectious diseases. From academically overlooked therapeutic areas to heavily researched biological processes, she enjoys combining personalized communication with real-world examples to ensure readers fully grasp immunotherapy-related disease states and available treatments. Shanzeh truly believes that everyone can understand scientific concepts, even if they don’t have an academic background in science, if our communication tools are appropriately catered to our audience.

Tim Parent joined Caroline Phaneuf Communications in 2023. He is a seasoned radio, television, and digital journalist, writer, producer, and storyteller. With a journalism career spanning over two decades, Tim has journeyed through newsrooms across Canada, including stops in Montreal, Toronto, Niagara, and Calgary. A passionate and creative communicator, he has a thorough understanding of the Canadian media landscape. Drawing on his extensive experience and network of media contacts, he specializes in developing communications and media strategies and creating compelling content. Most recently, he’s been writing and reporting on Canada’s agriculture sector.
Rebecca Burns

Rebecca has, over the past 15 years, held a variety of communications and project management positions. Rebecca’s strengths include social media, media relations, and media relations strategies, in addition to project coordination. Previously with the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force, she has also worked extensively at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC).

Translator, English to French
Dominique has been translating from English to French for over 30 years. A member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) with a bachelor’s degree specialized in translation from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, Dominique is a perfectionist and always writes and edits impeccable French. Among her specialties are translating in the aerospace and transport, health and health research, education, law, and human resources sectors.
Marie-Hélène Cartier
Translator, English to French
Marie-Hélène has been working in translation for over three decades. After completing her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Université de Montréal, she gravitated to the world of advertising adaptation, working for several international networks of advertising agencies. She then moved on to freelance work, offering her services as a generalist translator to a wide range of clients in a variety of fields. Versatile, she carries out the mandates entrusted to her with efficiency and professionalism.
